Patrick Musotsi Matasi is a Kenyan professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Kenyan Premier League club Tusker and the Kenya national team. He was born on December 11, 1987, and has played for several clubs in Kenya and Ethiopia. Matasi has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in Kenyan soil.

Matasi began his career playing for Kabrass United before moving to A.F.C. Leopards in 2011. He then played for Posta Rangers and Tusker before signing a three-year contract with Ethiopian Premier League club Saint George in October 2018. Matasi has also represented the Kenya national team since 2017 and has made 31 appearances for the team.

In 2021, Matasi was involved in a freak road accident along the Kapsabet-Nakuru road in Lessos, Uasin Gishu county. He was hospitalized but survived the accident.

Matasi’s career has been marked by several achievements. In 2018, he was named the Kenyan Premier League goalkeeper of the year. He was also part of the Kenya national team that reached the round of 16 at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
